Between work, taking care of our children, significant others, animals, and families, not to mention taking time out for social commitments, we leave very little time just for ourselves. If we don’t take time for ourselves there is no way we can expect to be able to give 100% to anything or anyone else in our lives! I have always believed that workouts are way more than just a way to look good in a bikini. Workouts are a way for us to take time devoted entirely to ourselves, our wellbeing and our sanity and this is something that I stress to every one of my clients.
Recently I was contacted by Six:02, a super cute boutique athletic clothing store in Inwood Village, to come take a look at their store and learn about their merchandise and philosophy. Their motto is all about taking time to better yourself and they carry tons of fun merchandise that motivates you to look great during your workouts. This month I am joining their Fit Crew and it gives me the chance to bring special events, opportunities, products, and sales to all of you through my social media channels and local events. Speaking of taking time for yourself, I just took a long weekend to relax in Napa. Besides workouts, we also need to listen to our bodies and take a break once in a while with a trip, some time with our closest friend, or even just a long bath. Last weekend I chose to take a trip and I came back relaxed and rejuvenated and ready to take on the rest of the year! Click through the below pics of places in Napa that I loved!
